Context & Brief: 

The global architecture firm Woods Bagot commissioned a short documentary video to publicise their redevelopment of the heritage listed Palace Hotel in the centre of Perth into their new design studio.

Our Response:

Working alongside Epistudios we documented the full redevelopment process of the hotel over a 4-month period, capturing the renovation, interviews, time lapses and sourcing historical documents and photographs of the building.

As a reflection of the design brief to ensure the integrity of the heritage of the building was maintained, we ensured the story of the history of the building as the Palace Hotel was carried throughout the narrative of the documentary.

Outcome:

The documentary was screened on the opening night event to over 600 guests and dignitaries, has been published widely online and was featured by local news channels.
